Placements24 in Soweto is seeking a Well Integrity Engineer to safeguard oil and gas wells throughout their lifecycle. You will develop and manage the Well Integrity Management System (WIMS), perform risk analyses, and coordinate inspection, testing, and maintenance programs to protect personnel and the environment.

You will work with drilling, production, and maintenance teams to drive integrity improvements, analyze data for early issue detection, and propose reliable repair and intervention

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in well integrity engineering or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of wellhead equipment, downhole tools, cement evaluation, and corrosion control.
• Familiarity with ISO 16530 and API standards.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement, and manage the Well Integrity Management System (WIMS).
• Conduct risk assessments and failure analyses for well components and systems.
• Define inspection, testing, and maintenance programs for wells.
• Monitor well performance and operational data to identify potential integrity issues.
• Provide technical recommendations for well repairs, interventions, and upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
