Job summary

Qualifications

• Witness welding tests and inspections.
• Perform visual inspection of welded joints.
• Verify welding parameters and consumables during installation/construction activities.
• Review welding requirements for field erected structures, vessels, tanks, boilers and other process plants.

Responsibilities

• Witness welding tests and inspections carried out.
• Inspect welded joints visually and report findings.
• Ensure fabricated steel is welded as planned and meets customer specs.
• Prepare documentation for customer certification that quality procedures were followed.
• Verify welding procedures and welder qualifications.
• Check availability and suitability of welding equipment and consumables.
• Assist QA/QC team to ensure adherence to standards and continuous production.
