Key Responsibilities Assist certified welders in preparing metal surfaces for welding. Learn and practice various welding techniques under direct supervision. Operate welding equipment safely and maintain tools and machinery. Read and interpret welding blueprints and specifications. Fabricate and assemble metal components according to project requirements. Follow all safety procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), with a strong aptitude for technical subjects. A genuine interest in welding and a willingness to learn the trade. Good physical dexterity and the ability to work in various positions.
