The Weir Group is seeking a Welder/Gouger for our Port Elizabeth operations. This on-site role requires hands-on gouging of parts, removing burn-on, flash and runner system, with strict adherence to standards and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) and ability to read and interpret documents.
• Minimum of two years of welding experience in engineering, manufacturing, mining or related environment.

Responsibilities

• Gouging of parts and removing burn-on, flash and runner system.
• Ensure gouging is done according to required standards.
• Report non-conforming items to Shift Leaders.
• Safety First: Demonstrate commitment to zero-harm behaviors.
