Weir HBF (Pty) Ltd in Port Elizabeth is seeking a Welder/Gouger to join our onsite mining technology team. You will perform gouging, remove burn-on and ensure workmanship meets standards.

The ideal candidate has Matric and at least two years welding experience in engineering, manufacturing, mining or related environments, and can read and interpret documents. Join us to contribute to safer, efficient mining solutions.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of welding experience in engineering, manufacturing, mining or related environment.
• Able to read and interpret documents.

Responsibilities

• Gouging of parts and removing burn-on, flash and runner system.
• Ensure gouging is done according to required standards.
• Report non-conforming items to Shift Leaders.
• Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to zero harm behaviors.
