Placements24 is seeking a certified Watersports Instructor & Activity Leader for a popular coastal resort near East London. You will deliver high-quality instruction across surfing, kayaking, paddleboarding and sailing, while ensuring guest safety and enjoyment.

In this role you will maintain equipment, plan group activities for varied skill levels, and contribute to resort-wide recreational events. A passion for watersports and strong customer engagement are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Certification in watersports instruction (ISA, PADI or RYA).
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Proven experience in teaching watersports or leading outdoor activities.
• Excellent swimming ability and physical fitness.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; engaging with diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional instruction and guidance in various watersports (surfing, kayaking, paddleboarding, sailing).
