Job summary

Solenis is seeking a Water Treatment Technician to service industrial water systems at client sites in Durban. This on-site role covers chemical handling, system monitoring, and routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance. You will collect samples, test water quality, and log activities while supporting account managers with accurate reporting. A strong safety mindset and hands-on skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, offload and manage chemical deliveries and ensure safe handling.
• Monitor and test water quality in boilers, cooling systems, pasteurizers and chlorine dioxide systems.
• Inspect pumps, tanks and pasteurizers for leaks and issues; perform maintenance as needed.
• Complete daily usage and service reports, and submit pasteurizer data to Account Managers.
• Support client accounts and capture operator feedback to improve operations.
