Job summary

Tailormade Solution is seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our warehouse and distribution operations. The ideal candidate will lead a team, oversee picking and checking, and drive stock control and accuracy using handheld scanners.

We are looking for a hands-on leader with strong communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence. Weekend and overtime availability are required as needed.

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 required.
• Experience in a warehouse with a supervisory role.
• Experience as picker and checker.
• Familiar with handheld scanners.
• Strong knowledge of stock control.
• Willing to work weekends and overtime.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Reliable and able to work under pressure.
• Clear criminal record.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and motivate warehouse staff to achieve daily targets.
• Oversee picking, checking, receiving, and dispatch activities.
• Ensure accurate order picking and stock verification using handheld scanners.
• Monitor productivity, attendance and performance of team members.
• Maintain health and safety standards within the warehouse.
• Ensure all procedures and quality standards are followed.
• Assist with stock counts and inventory control.
• Report operational issues and provide solutions to improve efficiency.
