About the Role

This is a compelling remote opportunity for an experienced leader in the **Logistics & Warehousing** field. Our client is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead to remotely oversee and guide an overnight shift team, ensuring seamless operations from a distance. You will be responsible for motivating your team, managing workflow, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring the accurate and timely processing of goods during overnight hours. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to manage a team effectively through digital platforms and virtual supervision. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable leading from afar, ensuring operational excellence for our client's facilities, particularly those operating 24/7. Key Responsibilities

• Remotely lead, mentor, and motivate an overnight warehouse shift team.
• Oversee and ensure the efficient execution of all warehouse tasks during the night shift, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and environmental procedures remotely.
• Monitor team performance, provide virtual feedback, and facilitate remote training as needed.
• Maintain stock accuracy through remote oversight of cycle counts and inventory checks.
• Ensure warehouse organization and cleanliness standards are upheld by the team on-site.
• Manage and resolve day-to-day operational issues remotely, escalating complex problems to onsite management or senior leadership.
• Communicate effectively via digital channels with the onsite team, supervisors, and management.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing remote operational efficiency.
• Conduct virtual check-ins and performance reviews with team members.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a warehouse environment, with at least 1-2 years in a team lead or supervisory capacity, preferably with experience managing remote teams or shifts.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, even when working remotely.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including inventory management and order fulfillment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and virtual leadership skills.
• Proficiency in using communication and collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Teams, Slack) and basic computer systems.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations relevant to warehouse environments.
• Ability to work under pressure and ensure team productivity during overnight shifts, remotely.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications or further education are a plus.
• Must be able to reliably work overnight hours from a remote location.
• Must have a stable internet connection and a dedicated workspace.
