Job summary

Neptune is seeking a warehouse logistic specialist to oversee inbound and outbound movement, ensuring accurate picking, staging, loading and receiving processes. The role focuses on stock control, rotation, and maintaining production flow with proper sign-off between warehouse and manufacturing.

The position requires daily stock counts and adherence to FEFO principles, with emphasis on reducing stockouts and improving overall efficiency in the distribution center.

Responsibilities

• Inbound and outbound movement: ensure accurate picking, staging and loading for on-time outbound movement, and accurate counting, receiving and unloading for inbound movement, maintaining optimal site turnaround time.
• Full product, containers, and support materials managed within model stock levels, with adherence to stacking requirements per bin.
• Execute daily decisions and prioritisation to minimise out of stock scenarios.
• Ensure stock is removed from production lines and containers are fed to production lines to avoid disruptions, with accurate sign-off between Warehouse and Manufacturing.
• Ensure daily stock counts are executed accurately, with corrective action for non-compliance and forward/reverse count validity.
• Maintain high product quality through effective rework within the team and proper stock rotation (FEFO) to protect quality, including recording breakages and decanting for corrective action.
