Job summary

Pick n Pay in South Africa seeks a diligent merchandiser to stack, store and stock products safely, rotate stock, check quality and prevent wastage. You will provide courteous service, respond to queries, and ensure security procedures are followed.

This role requires Grade 12, successful completion of a competency based interview, and flexibility to transfer between stores as needed.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 is required and competency based interview will be used to assess suitability.
• Transferability between stores may be required as part of the role.
• Focus on accurate stocking, tidy merchandise and adherence to standards.

Responsibilities

• Stack and store products in a safe and tidy manner.
• Merchandise products according to laid down standards.
• Check quality, rotate stock, remove expired stock.
• Prevent wastage, shrinkage and damages.
• Adhere to and maintain security procedures.
• Operate and clean equipment according to laid down standards.

• Off load trucks.
