Job summary

Zimmer Biomet in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, offers a 12-month warehouse internship to support daily operations in receiving, restocking, picking, packing and dispatch. You will work under the Warehouse Lead and gain hands-on exposure to SAP, inventory control and shop-floor processes.

The program is designed for individuals with a basic qualification in Supply Chain or Logistics, Matric, and a willingness to work rotating day/night shifts, weekends and overtime as required. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience.
• Knowledge of health and safety.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and follow warehouse processes.

Responsibilities

• Receive and restock goods; record incoming and outgoing stock daily in line with warehouse processes.
• Pick and pack customer and branch orders and support timely shipment.
• Conduct stock counts and process the required paperwork.
• Use SAP and comply with standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Carry out manual handling and maintain good housekeeping.
• Follow health and safety standards and work effectively within the team.
• Work rotating day and night shifts, weekends and overtime as required.
