Job summary

Halewood South Africa in Benoni, Gauteng, seeks a Warehouse Operations - Picker / Cycle Counter. You will pick orders, scan movements, and support inbound/outbound processes to ensure stock accuracy.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year warehouse experience, a valid forklift/reach truck/pallet jack licence, and are physically fit and punctual. Training on TransLution handheld scanner is provided.

Qualifications

• 1+ year picking or general warehouse experience, preferably FMCG/beverages.
• Valid forklift/reach truck/pallet jack licence (advantage).
• Ability to read picking slips, labels, batch numbers and expiry dates.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders and production material requests against slips or scanner.
• Scan every pick, put-away and movement to keep stock in sync with system.
• Inbound: assist offloading, receiving checks, labeling and put-away to correct location.
• Outbound: stage, check and load finished-goods orders following FIFO/FEFO and load plans.
• Keep work area tidy and follow warehouse safety rules, PPE and MHE separation.
• Participate in daily huddles and loss/error root-cause discussions.
• Build skills: MHE licensing and multi-skilling across inbound and outbound.
