Job summary

Absolute Pets in Cape Town seeks a Warehouse Manager with a proven track record in inventory, people, processes and systems. You will lead a dynamic team, drive continuous improvement and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

The role requires hands-on leadership in a fast-paced warehouse, with responsibility for receipt, storage, dispatch, stock accuracy and reporting to management. On-site position based in Cape Town.

Qualifications

• Matric is required.
• A tertiary qualification in Logistics/Warehouse/Distribution is advantageous.
• Minimum of 7 years warehouse experience and 4 years in a Warehouse Manager role.
• Ability to lead a team and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Ensure warehouse complies with company standards and safety.
• Oversee receipt, storage and dispatch of goods to optimize space.
• Plan routes, improve processes and manage stock levels and cycles.
• Track performance metrics, reports and deadlines for management.
• Coach, train and supervise warehouse staff and maintain attendance records.
• Resolve issues promptly and ensure effective communication across site.
