Job summary

Absolute Pets (Pty) Ltd. is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead the Inventory department at the Cape Town Warehouse in Marconi Beam.

You will oversee stock counts, variances, and ensure accurate, timely stock handling. You will drive 95% bin accuracy, weekly cycle counts, FIFO stock rotation, and root-cause analysis of variances, while coordinating with Finance and Commercial to minimise losses and maximise working capital.

Qualifications

• Experience in stock counts and variance investigations.
• Ability to plan and lead warehouse inventory processes.
• Strong reporting to management on risks and losses.
• Proactive resolution of stock discrepancies between Ador and IQ.
• Maintain 95% bin accuracy with weekly verifications.
• FIFO stock rotation to prevent expiries.
• Ensure GRV-ing of incoming goods within 24 hours.
• Coordinate with Finance and Commercial on credit notes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily stock counts and investigate variances.
• Lead warehouse inventory processes and teams to ensure accuracy.
• Daily cleanup of stock locations in Ador; report risks and losses.
• Communicate misalignments between Ador and IQ to management.
• Investigate root causes of damages and report findings.
• Minimize obsolete stock and maximise working capital.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards.
• Ensure 95% bin accuracy; perform weekly verifications.
