Job summary

Time Personnel seeks an experienced Warehouse Manager in Gauteng to lead daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage and dispatch. You will manage a team, maintain stock accuracy, and ensure safety and compliance. A SA Driver's license and reliable transport are required.

The role emphasizes leadership, efficiency improvements and collaboration with suppliers and internal departments to optimise space and workflows.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Warehouse Manager.
• At least 3 years managing a warehouse team.
• Experience managing warehouse operations, inventory control, receiving, dispatch and staff.
• Background in single-phase electrical work and lighting products advantageous.
• Strong leadership, planning and organisational skills.
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems.
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Office).
• Valid South African driver's license and own reliable transport.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day warehouse operations: receiving, storage and dispatch of stock.
• Supervise and motivate warehouse staff; enforce productivity and procedures.
• Oversee inventory control, stock accuracy, cycle counts and regular stock takes.
• Ensure all goods are checked, processed and documented accurately.
• Coordinate deliveries and dispatch schedules for on-time orders.
• Monitor warehouse housekeeping and health and safety compliance.
• Maintain accurate records and generate stock/movement reports.
• Investigate stock variances, damaged goods and operational issues.
• Liaise with suppliers, transport providers and internal departments.
• Optimize layout and storage systems to maximise space.
• Maintain and service warehouse equipment as required.
• Implement processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Train and onboard new warehouse staff with ongoing coaching.
