Job summary

HXP in South Africa is seeking a reliable General Worker to support daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced FMCG environment. You will assist with receiving, packing, loading, offloading, stock handling, cleaning and maintaining warehouse standards to ensure efficient distribution.

Requirements include a Matric, warehouse or general labor experience preferred, basic numeracy and literacy, ability to operate pallet jacks and forklifts (certification an advantage), and good teamwork and safety

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Matric.
• Warehouse or general labor experience preferred.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks and forklifts (certification an advantage).
• Strong attention to detail to handle stock accurately.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and store incoming stock correctly.
• Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with loading and offloading delivery vehicles.
• Ensure products are handled carefully to prevent damage.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe at all times.
• Conduct stock counting and assist with inventory control.
• Follow health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Report damaged stock, shortages, or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Operate basic warehouse equipment where authorized.
• Support other warehouse duties as required.
