Job summary

HXP in Gauteng is seeking a reliable General Worker to support daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced FMCG environment. You will assist with receiving, packing, loading, offloading, stock handling and warehouse cleanliness.

Ideal candidates have a Matric, basic numeracy and literacy, and are able to operate pallet jacks. Forklift certification is a plus; we value safety, accuracy and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• Matric is the minimum education requirement.
• Warehouse or general labor experience preferred.
• Basic numeracy and literacy for stock counting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and store incoming stock correctly.
• Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with loading and offloading delivery vehicles.
• Ensure products are handled carefully to prevent damage.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe at all times.
• Conduct stock counting and assist with inventory control.
• Follow health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Report damaged stock, shortages, or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Operate basic warehouse equipment where authorized.
• Support other warehouse duties as required.

• Good physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy items safely.

• Flexibility to work shifts and overtime as required in a fast-paced setting.
