We are seeking a Warehouse Co-Ordinator to join our Consumable’s Screening Supply Chain Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the warehouse by monitoring warehouse activities, ensuring timely execution of routine processes, and maintaining accurate inventory and transaction records.
The role has a good understanding of internal logistics processes and works independently within established procedures while receiving guidance and support from the Warehouse Clerk or Head of Warehousing when required. The Warehouse Coordinator helps ensure efficient material flow, inventory accuracy, and compliance with warehouse standards.
In this position, you will report to the Delivery Manager.
This position is mainly based in Germiston, Gauteng.
TEAM YOU’LL BELONG TO
You will join the Consumable’s Screening Supply Chain Team and work closely with internal and external stakeholders, such as Management, Suppliers, Sub-Contractors, Clients, Supply and the Sales Team.
What You Will Do
- Monitor daily warehouse activities and support the smooth execution of warehouse operations
- Coordinate and follow up on inbound, storage, internal logistics, picking, packing, and shipping activities
- Execute routine warehouse transactions in SAP and other warehouse systems accurately and on time
- Monitor inventory movements and ensure transactions are completed according to established procedures
- Support inventory accuracy through regular stock checks, cycle counting, and reconciliation activities
- Assist in identifying and escalating inventory discrepancies, process deviations, or operational issues
- Ensure materials are available and moved according to operational requirements and priorities
- Coordinate routine communication with warehouse operators and relevant internal stakeholders
- Support compliance with warehouse procedures, work instructions, quality requirements, and operational standards
- Maintain organized warehouse documentation and records
- Provide operational updates to the Warehouse Clerk and Head of Warehousing as needed
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse
- Follow and promote compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements and company policies
Who You Are
- Matric (Grade 12)
- You have a good understanding of warehouse and internal logistics processes
- You understand material receiving, storage, inventory management, internal material flow, picking, packing, and shipping activities
- You have basic to intermediate SAP knowledge and can perform warehouse transactions accurately
- You are detail-oriented and committed to maintaining inventory and transaction accuracy
- You can work independently and effectively manage daily responsibilities
- You are organized and able to prioritize tasks in a dynamic warehouse environment
- You have good communication and collaboration skills
- You proactively identify issues and escalation them appropriately
- You demonstrate accountability and a strong commitment to following established processes
- You support a safe, compliant, and efficient warehouse operation
