Job summary

CTM Secunda seeks two dynamic Warehouse Assistants/Tilers to join our team. You will support dispatch, assist customers, and handle tiling duties with accuracy and professionalism.

Ideal candidates have Grade 12, strong attention to detail, and good English communication. Previous experience in warehouse or tiling is preferred, and a willingness to work retail hours, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
• Fluency in English is essential.
• Previous warehouse, dispatch, customer service or retail experience.
• Previous tiling experience will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of tiles and tiling installation techniques is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dispatch team in serving customers collecting their purchases.
• Ensure deliveries are checked against customer orders for accuracy.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards in warehouse/dispatch areas.
• Participate in and assist with annual stock counts.
• Receive, check and pack stock in designated areas.
• Receive and inspect customer returns and credits.
• Assist with tiling duties including tile installation and preparation.

• Ensure that all scheduled deliveries are checked against customer orders to confirm that the correct products and quantities are supplied.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards within the warehouse and dispatch areas.
• Participate in and assist with annual stock counts.
• Receive, check and pack stock in the designated areas.
• Receive and inspect customer returns and credits.
• Assist with tiling-related duties, including tile installation and preparation, where required.
• Ensure that all duties are performed accurately and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or an equivalent qualification.
• Fluency in English is essential.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, dispatch, customer service or retail environment.
• Previous tiling experience will be a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of tiles, tiling products and installation techniques will be an advantage.
