Placements24 is seeking a proactive Warehouse Supervisor to lead operations at its Mossel Bay logistics hub. You will oversee receiving, put-away, storage, order picking, packing and dispatch, while ensuring safety, accuracy and on-time fulfillment in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have proven leadership, strong inventory control experience, familiarity with WMS systems, forklift operation, and the ability to mentor a growing team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within logistics or distribution.
• Strong grasp of warehouse operations, inventory control, and WMS systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team management abilities.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to warehouse environments.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, physically demanding setting.
• Experience with forklift operation or other warehouse machinery is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse staff activities including receiving, put-away, picking, packing and shipping.
• Ensure accuracy and efficiency of inventory systems with regular stock counts.
• Implement and enforce strict health and safety regulations in the warehouse.
• Train and mentor staff to foster performance and continuous improvement.
• Manage warehouse equipment and resources to optimize flow.
• Coordinate with logistics coordinators and transport teams for timely dispatch and receipt of goods.

This role is essential for managing the efficient flow of goods within the warehouse, overseeing receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and dispatch processes. You will be responsible for supervising a team of warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and maintaining high standards of operational accuracy and productivity.
