Cue provides modern customer service software that enables businesses to communicate with people using chatbots and live chat on platforms like WhatsApp, Messenger, Web chat and more.
We are looking for a Visual Designer who can take complete ownership of our visual identity and bring our brand to life through exceptional design.
You will design across digital and internal channels from social media and landing pages to sales collateral and web visuals and work closely with sales, content, and product teams to ensure everything we put into the world looks and feels distinctly Cue.
We are looking for someone who has designed for SaaS, tech, or startup environments, understands how to translate technical ideas into clean, modern design, and can deliver high‑quality work independently.
Responsibilities
- Own the visual identity of Cue ensuring every asset is cohesive, elevated, and on‑brand across all channels.
- Maintain and evolve the brand’s visual language, colour palette, typography, and component styles.
- Audit and refine visuals regularly to keep the brand consistent and aligned with modern SaaS design standards.
- Manage and own the end‑to‑end design process across multiple touchpoints including social media content, ad visuals, campaign assets, website and landing pages, sales collateral, internal materials, presentations, and merch design.
- Take complete ownership of the design workflow from brief interpretation and scoping through concept, feedback, iteration, and final delivery.
- Plan and manage design timelines, proactively flagging risks or dependencies and ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.
- Translate business and marketing needs into strong, effective visual solutions that communicate clearly, convert effectively, and feel distinctly Cue.
- Build, maintain, and expand Cue’s Figma design system, ensuring reusable components, templates, and patterns are up‑to‑date, scalable, and easy for others to use.
- Create new components or assets as needed for campaigns, web updates, and new initiatives, ensuring alignment with the design system and brand principles.
- Deliver high‑quality designs demonstrating strong attention to detail, consistency, and craftsmanship.
- Keep Cue’s design language fresh, modern, and competitive by staying ahead of industry and SaaS design trends, continuously uplifting the visual standard.
- Work autonomously and collaboratively, taking initiative to problem‑solve, move projects forward independently, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
Background and experience
- 4‑7 years of experience in visual or digital design, ideally in SaaS, tech, or startup environments.
- Strong visual design portfolio that demonstrates clean, modern, and consistent design work.
- Able to work independently and cross‑functionally, managing multiple priorities.
- Passionate about creating sleek, functional, and scalable visual design systems.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and / or Framer (or similar web design tools).
- Solid understanding of brand systems, responsive design, and digital accessibility.
- Experience with asset creation for paid media and organic social.
- Familiarity with SaaS GTM environments, sales collateral, and content workflows.
- Bonus – Experience with motion design, basic video editing, or light animation work.
