Job summary
Placements24 is seeking dynamic online STEM tutors to deliver engaging remote instruction to students across South Africa. This role focuses on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, with sessions conducted virtually and flexibly from any location.
You will create personalized learning plans, explain concepts clearly, assess progress with quizzes, and provide constructive feedback to boost performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in STEM or Education with STEM focus.
- Proven experience teaching or tutoring STEM subjects, preferably at the secondary or tertiary level.
- Strong command of Mathematics and at least one Natural Science subject.
- Excellent online communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with virtual collaboration tools, interactive whiteboards, and educational software.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging online STEM tutoring sessions across Mathematics and sciences.
- Develop personalized learning plans aligned to student goals.
- Explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- Assess understanding with quizzes and tasks.
- Provide constructive feedback to boost confidence and performance.
- Maintain accurate records of sessions and progress.
