You will create personalized learning plans, explain concepts clearly, assess progress with quizzes, and provide constructive feedback to boost performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or Education with STEM focus.
• Proven experience teaching or tutoring STEM subjects, preferably at the secondary or tertiary level.
• Strong command of Mathematics and at least one Natural Science subject.
• Excellent online communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with virtual collaboration tools, interactive whiteboards, and educational software.

About the Role

Our client is seeking dynamic and knowledgeable Online STEM Tutors to deliver engaging virtual instruction to students remotely, supporting learners from the Upington region and beyond. This role is perfect for educators passionate about Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) who can break down complex concepts into understandable lessons. You will provide personalized tutoring sessions, helping students build a strong foundation in STEM subjects, improve their grades, and develop a lasting interest in these critical fields. As this is a fully remote position, you can work from anywhere, contributing to the advancement of STEM education.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging online tutoring sessions in various STEM subjects (e.g., Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, Technology).


• Develop personalized learning strategies and lesson plans tailored to individual student needs and academic goals.


• Explain complex scientific and mathematical concepts in a clear, concise, and accessible manner.


• Assess student understanding through interactive exercises, quizzes, and problem-solving tasks.


• Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to boost student confidence and performance.


• Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, student progress, and communication.
