Overview

We're looking for a creative and technically skilled Videographer & Editor to produce engaging video content that supports marketing objectives across multiple channels. This role combines storytelling, video production, editing, and collaboration to create content that drives brand awareness and audience engagement.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about video storytelling, creating attention-grabbing content, and delivering results. If you're creative, organised, and thrive under deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Video Production

• Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content for campaigns, social media, events, product launches, and internal communications.
• Develop storyboards, shot lists, and creative concepts for productions.
• Ensure strong visual quality through effective use of cameras, lighting, audio, and production equipment.

Video Editing & Content Creation

• Create short-form and long-form content for platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Produce platform-specific edits using motion graphics, animations, sound design, and visual storytelling techniques.
• Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and campaign goals.
• Partner with the creative team and internal stakeholders to deliver impactful content.
• Present ideas, incorporate feedback, and support multimedia and photography projects when required.

Equipment Management

• Maintain and prepare production equipment for shoots.
• Report and track damaged or missing equipment.

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12 (required)
• Diploma or qualification in Film, Video Production, Multimedia, or a related field (preferred)

Experience

• Proven experience in videography and video editing.
• Experience creating content for social media platforms.
• Photography, colour grading, AI-assisted creative tools, or agency/marketing experience is advantageous.

Skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
• Strong understanding of lighting, composition, framing, and audio.
• Excellent storytelling, organisational, and time-management skills.
• Motion graphics and animation experience is advantageous.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to balance creativity and business objectives.
