You will be responsible for transforming raw footage into compelling promotional content that aligns with brand messaging and marketing objectives. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of pacing and storytelling, and proficiency in modern editing software. You'll work on a variety of projects, from short social media clips to longer promotional videos, contributing to the visual narrative of the brand in the heart of the Free State.
- Edit raw video footage into high-quality promotional content for various platforms.
- Incorporate graphics, music, sound effects, and voiceover to enhance the final product.
- Ensure all edits are technically sound, meet brand guidelines, and keep aligned with project briefs.
- Collaborate with directors, producers, and marketing teams to understand project requirements and feedback.
- Manage and organize video assets, project files, and media libraries.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing techniques, software updates, and industry trends.
- Proven experience as a Video Editor , with a portfolio showcasing diverse editing styles and successful projects.
- Proficiency in professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and narrative structure.
- Experience with motion graphics and basic sound design is a significant advantage.
