Job summary

Network Finance in South Africa seeks an external sales professional to own end-to-end sales of vertical storage and warehouse solutions. You will identify opportunities, engage decision-makers, and tailor solutions to maximise space and efficiency.

You'll drive pipeline across logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, retail and mining, conduct site surveys, prepare quotations, negotiate terms and close deals. A strong hunter mindset and relationship skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12 required.
• Sales, Marketing or Business qualification advantageous.
• 3–5 years external sales experience in storage systems or material handling solutions.
• Proven track record in B2B sales and new business development.
• Experience selling industrial products, warehouse solutions, storage systems or material handling equipment.
• Understanding of warehouse operations and basic warehouse design principles.
• Knowledge of vertical storage units advantageous.
• Ability to read warehouse layouts and storage-system specs.
• Strong consultative selling, negotiation, presentation and closing skills.
• CRM and Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business development across logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, retail, distribution, mining, agriculture and automotive.
• Prospect aggressively through cold calling, networking, customer visits and industry events.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
• Conduct warehouse assessments and site surveys to understand requirements.
• Develop and present tailored vertical storage and warehouse solutions.
• Prepare professional quotations and technical/commercial proposals.
• Participate in tenders and develop competitive submissions.
• Negotiate pricing and contracts.
• Develop long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across existing accounts.
• Work with Design and Operations to ensure technical accuracy of solutions.
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
• Maintain accurate CRM information, forecasts and pipeline reporting.
