Job summary

ABSA is seeking an Inspector to coordinate and execute day-to-day tasks for vehicle inspections across dealer sites. You will verify VIN/engine/registration details, prepare inspection reports and ensure compliance with the Wholesale Finance process.

You will plan routes, perform non-routine visits, and liaise with dealers to obtain proof of payment and delivery for settled vehicles. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and timely communication with the Wholesale Finance team.

Qualifications

• Conduct physical inspections at dealers as per the approved frequency.
• Plan and schedule routes to ensure unexpected visits for effective inspections.
• Coordinate, plan and deliver day-to-day tasks to support policy compliance.
• Liaise with Dealers and Wholesale Finance & Dealer Relations to resolve queries.

Responsibilities

• Protect bank assets by conducting physical inspections at dealers.
• Draw inspection lists for vehicles on Dealer's Wholesale Finance account.
• Verify vehicle ownership by checking original Natis documents against vehicle details.
• Email monthly route plans to the Wholesale Finance Line Manager.
• Ensure proof of payment and delivery are verified on sold/delivered vehicles.
