Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead utilities infrastructure projects in Mossel Bay. You will plan, execute, and finalize projects related to water, energy, or telecommunications, coordinating internal teams and external contractors to meet deadlines and budgets.

You will manage risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and engage stakeholders to deliver community-focused outcomes while driving value and impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 6 years of project management experience in utilities.
• Experience with water, wastewater, energy or telecom infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of utility operations and regulatory frameworks.
• Proficiency with project management software and tools.
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and completion of utility infrastructure projects.
• Define scope, objectives and deliverables aligned with community needs.
• Develop detailed project plans with timelines, resources and budget.
• Coordinate internal staff, external consultants and contractors.
• Identify, track and mitigate project risks, issues and changes.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations and safety.
