Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead critical energy infrastructure projects in Richards Bay. You will drive initiatives from initiation through completion, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and quality.

You will oversee planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, coordinate engineers and contractors, manage stakeholders, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance. This role offers growth opportunities and relocation support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) or a related field.
• PMP certification is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management, especially in energy or large infrastructure.
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with construction processes, safety regulations, and contracts in energy infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans with scope, timelines, budgets, resources, and risk strategies.
• Oversee day-to-day execution of energy infrastructure projects while meeting objectives and quality standards.
• Coordinate and lead project teams including engineers and contractors.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements throughout the lifecycle.
• Manage budgets, track expenditures, and provide financial reports to senior management.
• Facilitate clear communication among stakeholders with regular project status updates.
