Post Summary:
The Unit Manager is responsible for providing effective clinical and operational leadership within the Accident and Emergency Unit, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality and patient-centered emergency care in a timely and efficient manner.The role is responsible for leading and managing the emergency nursing team, coordinating departmental activities, optimizing the utilization of human and operational resources, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies, clinical protocols, professional standards and applicable healthcare regulations. The Unit Manager promotes clinical excellence, patient safety, staff development and continuous quality improvement, while fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, professionalism and outstanding patient care.

Minimum Requirements:
Education
- Relevant Nursing degree/diploma.
- Diploma or degree in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, Business Management, Nursing Administration and critical care or a related field would be advantageous.
- Post-basic qualification in Trauma/Emergency Nursing
- Intermediate Computer Skills (MS Office, Outlook, Teams)
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff, including nurses, nursing assistants, and support personnel.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years, with significant emergency/trauma experience
- Minimum of 2 years' supervisory or ER nursing management experience.
- Previous experience in a private hospital environment will be advantageous.
