Qualifications

• SANC registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Postgraduate Diploma/Degree in Emergency Nursing.
• Compliance with the SANC Scope of Practice and healthcare legislation.
• Minimum 1 year’s post-qualification experience in an Emergency Unit.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS advantageous.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.

What You’ll Bring

• Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Registered Nurse.
• Postgraduate Diploma or Degree in Emergency Nursing (required for Shift Leaders).
• Compliance with the SANC Scope of Practice and relevant healthcare legislation.
• Minimum 1 year’s post-qualification experience in an Emergency Unit.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification will be advantageous.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure emergency environment.
• Sound knowledge of emergency nursing practices, anatomy, pathophysiology and patient safety principles.
