Job summary

Hollard Insurance Company in Johannesburg is seeking an Underwriting Administrator to ensure accurate, timely processing across the full policy lifecycle. You will support brokers and clients with professional service, validate data, issue policies, schedules and endorsements, and contribute to audits and reporting.

You’ll work closely with underwriting and cross-functional teams to maintain system integrity, resolve queries, and identify process improvements that drive efficiency and service

Qualifications

• Experience with underwriting processes across policy lifecycles
• Ability to validate risk and policy data with accuracy
• Strong communication with brokers and clients

Responsibilities

• Manage underwriting transactions across the full policy lifecycle, from new business to renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.
• Process and validate risk and policy data with accuracy, ensuring system integrity and audit readiness.
• Issue policies, schedules, and endorsements within agreed service levels.
• Support underwriting decisions by analysing risk and claims information where required.
• Take ownership of the renewal cycle, ensuring timely follow-ups and completion.
• Act as a key point of contact for brokers and clients, resolving queries efficiently and professionally.
• Handle complaints and escalations in line with internal processes and customer fairness principles.
• Support reporting, portfolio administration, and quality assurance processes.
• Work closely with underwriting and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and service delivery
