Job summary

TYCHOFLASH PTY is seeking a seasoned Underground Mining Supervisor to lead and coach mining crews toward daily production targets in Rustenburg. You will conduct pre-shift safety meetings, manage task allocations, monitor attendance and productivity, and uphold safety, quality, and regulatory compliance on site.

Key requirements include Grade 12, a valid Competent A certificate, underground experience, and a team-leader qualification.

Qualifications

• Must have Team leadership experience and strong safety discipline.
• Must have Grade 12/Matric and a valid Competent A Certificate.
• Underground mining experience is essential; team leader competency is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead mining crews to achieve daily production targets.
• Conduct pre-shift safety meetings, inspections and risk assessments.
• Allocate tasks and resources to team members according to operational requirements.
• Monitor employee attendance, timekeeping and productivity.
• Ensure proper completion and utilisation of gang cards, checklists and operational records.
• Monitor the quality of work and ensure that production targets are achieved.
• Ensure tools, equipment and PPE are properly utilised and maintained.
• Provide coaching and guidance to team members to improve performance and safe working practices.
