Job summary

TYCHOFLASH PTY is seeking a seasoned Underground Mining Supervisor to lead and coach mining crews toward daily production targets in Rustenburg. You will conduct pre-shift safety meetings, manage task allocations, monitor attendance and productivity, and uphold safety, quality, and regulatory compliance on site.

Key requirements include Grade 12, a valid Competent A certificate, underground experience, and a team-leader qualification.

Qualifications

• Must have Team leadership experience and strong safety discipline.
• Must have Grade 12/Matric and a valid Competent A Certificate.
• Underground mining experience is essential; team leader competency is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper completion and utilisation of gang cards, checklists and operational records.

• Ensure tools, equipment and PPE are properly utilised and maintained.
• Provide coaching and guidance to team members to improve performance and safe working practices.

• Ensure tools, equipment and PPE are properly utilised
  and maintained.
• Provide coaching and guidance to team members to
  improve performance and safe working practices.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent.
• Valid Competent A Certificate.
• Valid Team Leader-related qualification or
  competency, where applicable to the mining
  operation.
• Relevant underground mining experience.
• Minimum 3–5 years' supervisory/team leader
  experience in a mining environment.
• Experience in Secondary support will be
  advantageous.
• Sound knowledge of mining safety procedures,
  risk assessments and workplace inspections.
• Good understanding of production and labour
  management.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Valid driver's licence will be advantageous
