Job summary

Unitrans is seeking an Ultra-heavy Motor Vehicle Driver to distribute goods to various clients from Uitenhage, Eastern Cape. The role requires a Grade 12 with a Code EC license and PrDP, plus several years of Ultra-heavy vehicle experience.

The successful candidate will work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, maintain a safe driving record, and perform vehicle loading/unloading with strict adherence to SOPs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience driving Ultra Heavy Vehicle.
• Valid PrDP and EC license.
• Ability to work weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicle for trip and operate Ultra heavy duty vehicles.
• Load, transport and offload vehicles.
• Handle required documentation and ancillary duties.
• Adhere to safety procedures and SOPs; perform vehicle inspections.
• Ensure loads are secured and not overloaded.
