Job summary

My client in Tygerfalls, Cape Town is seeking a permanent UI/UX Designer to join the team. You will conduct user research, develop wireframes, prototypes and personas, and collaborate with designers and developers to deliver user-friendly software.

The ideal candidate has a degree and 5-7 years of UX/UI experience with a strong portfolio, plus knowledge of interaction design and HTML/CSS. This role offers ongoing opportunities in a dynamic tech environment.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience

• University Degree, preferably B.Com Informatics, B. Engineering or B.Sc.
• 5-7 years' experience in a UX/UI Design or similar role.
• Proven experience as a UX Designer, UI Designer or in a similar position.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating successful UX and technical projects.
• Experience in user research and project management.
• Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture.
• Proficiency in design tools such as UXPin and Balsamiq.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript would be advantageous.
