Alstom is seeking a Senior Scheduler to lead the Gautrain Rapid Rail Link project schedules in Gauteng. You will provide leadership and overall accountability for developing and maintaining schedules to manage time commitments throughout delivery.

You will develop and monitor integrated schedules from design through delivery, coordinate planning with stakeholders, and lead subsystem planners. Proficiency in Primavera P6 and TILOS, plus English fluency, are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years scheduling experience on large engineering projects.
• Experience with Primavera P6 and TILOS for linear scheduling.
• Strong analytical skills to identify critical paths and risks.
• Fluent in English and able to coordinate across stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Develop, prepare, and monitor integrated project schedules from design through final delivery.
• Coordinate planning across all stakeholders and communicate between teams.
• Lead subsystem project planners and align outputs.
• Lead schedule reviews and identify time-improvement opportunities.
• Analyse critical paths, risks, and resource loading; develop mitigations.
• Prepare status reports, forecasts, and planning updates.
• Use Primavera P6 for detailed scheduling and resource allocation.
• Use TILOS to develop linear schedules integrating time and distance.
• Maintain schedules and KPIs in Alstom's planning system, OdyC.
• Run project simulations to support informed planning decisions.
• Support the claims strategy and schedule analyses for extension-of-time claims.
