Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Appliance Repair Technician or in a similar role.
• Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
• Familiarity with a wide variety of appliance brands and models.
• Ability to read technical manuals and troubleshoot effectively.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers professionally.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and continuous training on new appliance technologies.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, dishwashers, and ovens.
• Perform repairs, replacing components like motors, heating elements, pumps and control boards.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks and tune-ups to ensure optimal appliance performance.
• Provide accurate estimates for repair costs and explain the scope of work to customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, both in the service vehicle and at customer premises.
• Ensure all repairs are completed safely and according to manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices.
