Job summary

Route Management is seeking a skilled technician with a strong background in heavy vehicle maintenance to join our workshop in Gauteng. You will diagnose mechanical and wheel alignment issues on trucks and trailers, using heavy-duty alignment equipment, and implement effective repairs.

The ideal candidate holds a Grade 12/Matric and a related qualification, with proven experience in trucks and strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities. A valid driver's licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 is required.
• Relevant qualification in motor mechanics or related field advantageous.
• Experience with trucks, trailers or heavy commercial vehicles.
• Experience with heavy-duty wheel alignment equipment.
• Knowledge of steering, suspension and axle systems.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and alignment problems accurately.
• Valid driver's licence.

• Relevant qualification in Motor Mechanics, Automotive Repair, Wheel Alignment or a related field will be advantageous.

• Proven experience working with trucks, trailers or heavy commercial vehicles.

• Practical experience with heavy-duty wheel alignment equipment.

• Good understanding of truck and trailer steering, suspension and axle systems.

• Ability to accurately diagnose mechanical and alignment problems.

• Valid driver's licence; Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
