Job summary

Truworths is seeking a creative Graphic Designer to design original artworks, branding, and prints aligned with fashion trends at the Cape Town Head Office. The role involves working closely with Buyers, Fashion Designers, and Manufacturers to create unique and fashionable prints for the SA market.

You will research international and local trends, translate them into graphics for garments and fabrics, and prepare graphics for production from a technical perspective.

Qualifications

• Experience or training in graphic design for garments or fabrics.
• Understanding of print techniques such as screen and digital prints.
• Knowledge of current branding and graphic trends.

Responsibilities

• Design placement graphics, branding, and all-over prints for fabrics and garments.
• Research international and local print/fashion trends to guide direction.
• Advise on translating trends into graphics for the South African market.
• Prepare graphics and prints for production from a technical perspective.
• Provide styling, branding, and graphic suggestions.
• Utilize CAD tools and freehand sketching.
