Placements24 is assisting a family in Rustenburg, North West to hire a highly experienced Pediatric Nanny for live-out care. The role focuses on safety, development, and warmth, including travel with the family and daily routines.

The successful candidate will engage the child with age-appropriate activities, support education milestones, manage meals and naps, and maintain a clean, nurturing home environment while discreetly coordinating with the parents.

Qualifications

• Previous nanny/childcare experience with the relevant age group.
• Understanding of child development principles and best practices.
• Excellent references from previous employers.
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
• Clean criminal record check.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
• Driver's license and a reliable personal vehicle is advantageous.
• Strong communication, patience, and a discreet, respectful approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and nurturing care for a child, ensuring safety and well-being at all times.
• Plan and engage in age-appropriate educational and recreational activities.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the child, catering to dietary needs or preferences.
• Manage the child's daily routines, including feeding, bathing, dressing, and nap times.
• Light housekeeping duties related to the child's needs, such as tidying play areas and cleaning children's dishes/bottles.
• Accompany the child on outings, appointments, and occasional travel as required by the family.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding the child's progress, activities, and any concerns.
• Establish and maintain a consistent, structured, and positive daily routine.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and stimulating environment for the child.
