Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional childcare experience.
• Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities.
• Excellent cooking skills for healthy meals.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage household tasks related to childcare.
• References from previous employers.
• Must pass a thorough background check.
• Legal right to work in South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time care for children, ensuring safety and happiness.
• Plan and execute age-appropriate developmental activities.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to guidelines.
• Manage daily routines including bathing, dressing and bedtime.
• Maintain a clean, organized child-friendly home.
• Assist with homework and academic support as children grow.
• Transport children to school, appointments and activities.
• Communicate with parents regarding well-being and progress.
• Administer medication as instructed by parents.
• Ensure safety regulations and emergency procedures are followed.
• Foster social and emotional development and good behavior.
