Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a Transportation Engineering specialization.
• Minimum of 6 years in transportation planning and design.
• Proficiency in transportation planning software (PTV Vissim, TransCAD or similar).
• Strong understanding of traffic engineering, geometric design and network analysis.
• Experience with municipal or provincial authorities in Gauteng.

Responsibilities

• Develop transportation models and conduct traffic impact assessments for new developments.
• Design road networks, intersections, and public transport facilities to optimize traffic flow and safety.
• Prepare traffic management plans for major events and construction phases.
• Collaborate with city planners and government agencies on long-term strategies.
