Job Description
The Transaction Support / Database Manager is responsible for managing and maintaining the firm’s
transaction databases, CRM platforms, investor and client information, and deal pipeline while
providing operational support throughout the transaction lifecycle. The role combines database
management, transaction support, business development support, digital outreach and data
governance.
Key Responsibilities:
Database & CRM Management
- Manage and maintain client, investor, company, and transaction databases.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, security, and compliance with governance standards.
- Perform regular database maintenance, validation, cleansing, and quality assurance.
- Produce dashboards, reports, and analytics to support decision-making and business developments
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, record minutes, and follow up on action items.
- Administer CRM systems, maintain opportunity pipelines, and capture client interactions.
- Liaise with vendors.
Outreach & Business Development Support
- Supporting investor, client, and business development initiatives.
- Develop and manage targeted email campaigns and mailing lists.
- Maintain investor, buyer, and strategic partner databases.
- Coordinate conference registrations, networking events, webinars, and client engagement activities
- Support market research and identify potential investors, buyers, and business opportunities using financial databases.
- Manage user access for proprietary systems.
Digital Enablement & Reporting
- Identify opportunities to improve processes through automation and continuous
- improvement initiatives.
- Maintain awareness of emerging AI and digital technologies to enhance business operations.
- Maintain schedules of systems and training initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Grade 12 with a minimum of 60% in maths
- NDip/Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing,
- Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience managing databases, CRM systems, investor relations, and transaction support.
- Experience using research and transaction management platforms is advantageous.
