Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience in this specific field.
• Trade certificate in related fields will be beneficial.
• Must have welding experience.
• Valid drivers license (applicants without a drivers license will not be considered).
• Own vehicle required to travel from home to work.
• Must reside in the STEELPOORT area.
• Must be fluent in English and Afrikaans.

Responsibilities

• Carry out services to trailers daily, as per the OEM specifications.
• Attend to breakdowns on the trailers in depot, on the road, normal and after hours when required.
• Inspect trailers before/after work, carry out daily 15-minute checks.
• Accurate completion of job cards and workshop applications.
• Maintain high technical serviceability of the trailer section by quality work and preventative maintenance with ISO standards.
• Prioritize operational requests and implement effective solutions with the Workshop Manager.
