Red September is seeking an experienced Traffic & Resource Manager to join our Pretoria team. This hybrid, full-time role oversees daily workflows across Creative, Paid Media, SEO, Social, Strategy, Development and Account Management to ensure projects run on time and stay within budget.

You will forecast staffing, allocate resources, monitor workloads and implement ClickUp-based processes, timesheet tracking and reporting to improve efficiency and client profitability.

Qualificações

• Minimum 4–6 years' experience in traffic management, resource management or agency operations.
• Previous experience within a digital marketing, advertising or creative agency is essential.
• Experience managing multiple clients, projects and internal departments simultaneously.
• Strong working knowledge of ClickUp or similar project management platforms.
• Proven experience with resource planning, capacity management and timesheet tracking.
• A sound understanding of billable hours, client retainers, project budgets and resource costing.
• Strong Excel, reporting and analytical skills.
• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the confidence to manage competing priorities.
• A proactive, solutions-driven individual who can work effectively with Account Management, department heads and Finance.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily workflow across Creative, Paid Media, SEO, Social Media, Strategy, Development and Account Management.
• Manage incoming briefs, project timelines, priorities and deadlines.
• Coordinate resource allocation with department heads.
• Identify bottlenecks and ensure projects move efficiently from briefing to completion.
• Monitor team workloads, availability and capacity.
• Allocate resources according to project requirements and priorities.
• Identify overutilisation, underutilisation and resource shortages.
• Forecast staffing and freelance requirements based on upcoming projects and campaigns.
• Oversee the effective use of ClickUp across the agency.
• Ensure tasks are correctly assigned, estimated, scheduled and tracked.
• Monitor timesheet compliance and accuracy.
• Track actual hours against estimated and budgeted hours.
• Produce operational and resource utilisation reports.
• Work closely with Finance to monitor client retainers, project budgets and resource costs.
• Track billable versus non-billable hours.
• Identify scope creep, over-servicing and potential revenue leakage.
• Flag budget overruns before they impact profitability.
• Support monthly budget-versus-actual reporting.
• Assist with resource estimates for client quotations and project planning.
• Prepare weekly and monthly traffic and resource reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflow and operational efficiency.
• Implement effective traffic management processes.
• Drive accountability for deadlines, time tracking and resource utilisation.
