Job summary

Durpro Workforce Solutions is seeking a Trade Tested Electrician based in Durban North, KwaZulu-Natal. The ideal candidate will have a Grade 12 education, an N6 Certificate or National Technical Diploma, and an Electrical Trade Test Certificate. With a minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, you will handle preventative and reactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and compliance with electrical codes.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently and on shifts. A clear criminal record and traceable references are required.

Qualifications

Duties and Responsibilities

• Preventative and Reactive Maintenance, executing scheduled maintenance plans
• Performing routine inspections, and rapidly troubleshooting electrical breakdowns to minimize downtime
• Tracing and repairing electrical faults on single phase and three -phase systems, low voltage equipment and control panels
• Regularly inspect electrical systems, circuits and equipment to identify potential hazards or malfunctions
• Report any electrical problems, safety concerns or potential risks to the Maintenance Manager or relevant personnel
• Adhere to all safety protocols, procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working envirnment
• Ensure empliance with local , state and federal electrical codes and regulations
• Respond promptly to electrical emergencies or breakdowns to minimize downtime and ensure the safety of personnel and equopment
