Job summary

Durpro Workforce Solutions is seeking a Trade Tested Electrician based in Durban North, KwaZulu-Natal. The ideal candidate will have a Grade 12 education, an N6 Certificate or National Technical Diploma, and an Electrical Trade Test Certificate. With a minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, you will handle preventative and reactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and compliance with electrical codes.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently and on shifts. A clear criminal record and traceable references are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 to 3 years experience as a Trade Tested Electrician in a manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations and safety standards.
• Able to work independently and willing to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical systems.
• Conduct routine inspections and troubleshoot electrical breakdowns.
• Tracing and repairing electrical faults on single phase and three-phase systems.
