You will be responsible for planning and conducting tours, ensuring guest safety, and providing insightful commentary that brings the area to life. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct guided tours of Soweto , providing historical, cultural, and social context.
• Engage visitors with captivating storytelling and answer questions effectively.

• Manage tour logistics, including timing, transportation coordination, and group management.
• Research and stay updated on local history, current events, and points of interest.
• Provide recommendations for local dining and activities, enhancing the visitor's overall experience.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Tour Guide or in a similar customer-facing role with a strong emphasis on presentation.
• In-depth knowledge of the history, culture, and landmarks of Soweto and surrounding areas.
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage groups of various sizes and demographics effectively.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
• A valid driver's license and First Aid certification are preferred.
